About Me

I am a Community & Corporate Fundraiser, Trainer (Leadership and Fundraising), Public Relations, Public Speaker, Presenter (TV, Radio) and a field worker! Thanks for visiting my Site. Here is a quick summary of my Life and work.

I am working with one of the leading UK registered charity Islamic Relief, as the Head of Islamic Relief Scotland. The opinions expressed here in my site are my own and do not represent my employer's views.

Having moved from Pakistan in 1980, I have been living in Scotland for the last 30 years- worked in Imerial Chemical Industries ( ICI)  in Dumfries for 2 years after graduating. Then I took over my family motor trade business for a few years.

I joined Islamic Relief in October 2003 as a fundraiser and now the Head of Islamic Relief Scotland.

Throughout the course of my work I have visited Sudan, Niger, Ethiopia, Somaliland, Indonesia, Pakistan, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Syria, Gaza, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Lebanon.

I do play sitar in my free time, at various functions the length and breadth of Scotland.
