I am just back from Tehreek-e-Insaf-Scotland's community event held in Tramway, Glasgow where Imran Khan, the founder and the chairman of PTI Pakistan Political party was the chief guest.

Former Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan has claimed during his speech, had he been Pakistan's Prime Minister, he would have eliminated terrorism off Pakistan's soil within 90 days. He has also vowed to flog big crooks himself if elected to power. Mr Khan also claimed that Pakistan is ready for a revolution and he is fighting a war to change the political system of Pakistan.

Today Imran Khan proved at the packed 600+ venue, to Glaswegians with Pakistani origin that he is a man of the masses. He was not shy in criticising the Americans and their continuous drone attacks in tribal areas along Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Imran Khan said the drone attacks should be stopped immediately as they are actually benefiting the extremists.

Imran Khan definitely put smiles on audience faces by calling Hillary Clinton 'bibi Clinton' and Richard Holbrook 'chacha', uncle!

In the present uncertainty that engulfs Pakistan there are all sorts of rumours going around. But whatever the outcome, Pakistan is not going to escape this conflagration any time soon.  Pakistan today is in the throes of a civil 'war' in several areas, the social fabric of the country is in tatters and the economy is crumbling. The crisis is too deep, and Pakistan needs a surgical solution and Imran Khan believes he is the surgeon.
